My name is Judith and I have had my Cosmetology certification for 23 years now. I am also a proud Mexican, daughter of Mexican parents carrying a big dream of mine of one day owning my business.

My first business I had was selling candy at my school in Parral Chihuahua when I was 16 years old to help my parents out. Coming from a family of 9 siblings, with the help one of my 7 sisters- she was kind enough help me make my first investment of 50 pesos to start my small business. I remember her words to me were, "I'm going to lend you money but if you're good at managing the little you have now, you'll get money to continue buying sweets and eventually pay me back". And so, with the help of my younger brother we bought the sweets and began to sell them every day after school. In return for his help I would repay him with sweets after recess time as his pay.

Since we didn't have a mode of transportation, each day we walked to restock sweets for the next day's sale and thank God with that money we were able help our hard working parents a little with purchases of supplies.

Back tracking to now, I am blessed and happy to say that I now have running small Beauty Business that I can call my own. And honestly it is a pleasure to be able to serve the community though doing what I love. Knowing that just as I remember my sister's advice when I was a young girl, so I believe that your goals can be achieved- through effort and perseverance.
